Funny Christmas Card for Mum – Favourite Child Joke from Son or Daughter
Bring an extra laugh to Christmas Day with this funny Christmas card for Mum, featuring a cheeky message that will feel very familiar in families where everyone knows there is definitely a favourite. The front reads, “Merry Christmas Mum. Another Year of Me Being Your Favourite.” It is affectionate, playful and just smug enough to make Mum smile.
Designed especially for mums who appreciate a bit of family banter, this humorous Christmas card combines a warm festive greeting with a classic favourite child joke. Whether the claim is completely true or simply an ongoing family argument, the message makes a fun alternative to traditional sentimental Christmas cards.
The modern, text-led design puts the joke firmly at the centre. “Merry Christmas” and “Favourite” stand out in decorative red lettering, while “Mum” is displayed prominently in deep green. Red, green and gold details against the crisp white background create a traditional festive colour scheme with a clean, contemporary finish.
Holly leaves, bright red berries, golden stars, small baubles and hand-drawn hearts add plenty of seasonal character without distracting from the main message. The result is a colourful Mum Christmas card that looks festive on display while keeping the humorous wording easy to read.
This card is particularly suitable as a Christmas card for Mum from a son or daughter. It can also make a fun choice for Mother or Mummy, especially if she enjoys cheeky humour, sibling rivalry or jokes about having a favourite child. Whether you are an only child with an uncontested claim or one of several siblings competing for the title, the wording gives you an easy opportunity to have the final say.
It is equally suitable for an adult son or daughter looking for a funny card for Mum, or for younger family members who want something playful rather than overly sentimental. The humour remains affectionate, making it a versatile choice for families who like to tease one another at Christmas.
Quality matters when you are choosing a card for someone special. This Mum Christmas card is professionally printed for a sharp, vibrant finish that helps the red, green and gold design stand out. It is produced using premium 300gsm matte white cardstock, giving it a substantial feel in the hand and a smart finish when displayed.
The card measures 14.8 cm x 14.8 cm and has a square format that gives the bold typography plenty of space. Its modern layout makes the front message immediately noticeable, whether Mum opens it on Christmas morning or displays it alongside the rest of her festive cards.
Inside, the card is completely blank. This leaves plenty of room to write exactly what you want, whether that is a heartfelt Christmas message, another joke about being the favourite son or daughter, a family memory or simply your own festive wishes. You are not restricted by a pre-printed verse, so the finished card can be as personal as you like.
A quality brown kraft envelope is also included, complementing the card and making it ready for you to address and send or hand directly to Mum.
If you are searching for a funny Christmas card for Mum that feels modern, colourful and genuinely personal, this favourite child design offers a playful alternative to conventional festive greetings. It combines recognisable family humour with a cheerful Christmas design and premium materials.
Ideal for Mum, Mother or Mummy and especially suited to giving from a son or daughter, it is a simple way to share a laugh while still letting her know you are thinking of her at Christmas. And, of course, it provides one more opportunity to remind everyone who Mum’s favourite really is.
